Wendel: successful bond issue of €400 million, maturing in September 2019

Wendel successfully carried out a bond issue today totaling €400 million and maturing in September 2019.
The net proceeds of the issue will be used for Wendel's general corporate purposes in the context of its investment strategy and ongoing improvement of its financial structure by refinancing its shorter-term debt.
The issue was very well received by investors and was 6 times oversubscribed. All of the bonds were placed, essentially with international investors, in particular from the UK (42%), Switzerland (10%), Germany (8%) and France (22%).
Wendel was thus able to take advantage of excellent market conditions and issue the bonds with a coupon of 5.875%.
