We hereby inform you that Flemming Koch will leave his position as Corporate IT Director by mutual agreement.
Flemming Koch joined Solar A/S in February 2008 to take over management of the group’s IT organisation and to lead the work of preparing a new group IT strategy.
Subsequently, Flemming Koch has been a driving force in the building of the group’s future business concept Solar 8000, which among other things include the implementation of a common group template based on SAP. We thank Flemming Koch for his great efforts.
Following a pilot project implementation in Norway, Solar 8000 is entering the next phase which includes roll-out of the SAP group template in the remaining countries – a phase where a number of other IT projects have been put on hold to secure full focus on the roll-out.
Roll-out will begin as soon as the group template is available, required local adjustments have been made, master data is in place, and required competences are available in the individual subsidiaries. Quality is key in this matter. A total investment of € 55m is still expected.
For now, the functional managers in IT Hosting, SGS Classic, IWS & E-business and Solar 8000 will report to the executive management consisting of Group CFO Michael H. Jeppesen and the undersigned.
Best regards,
Solar A/S
Flemming H. Tomdrup
