International Snowmobile Safety Week is January 10-16, 2010. The purpose of
this annual program is to expose people to safe snowmobiling practices and
to demonstrate how operating safely can prevent mishaps. The manufacturers,
along with the snowmobile community, are more involved than ever in making
snowmobile safety a priority for all snowmobilers. The Safe Riders! You
make snowmobiling safe™ safety campaign is supported worldwide by
snowmobile enthusiasts. Over 80 percent of all snowmobilers recognize the
Safe Riders! logo and understand the campaign position statements.
Manufacturers invite snowmobilers to participate in International
Snowmobile Safety Week, and to visit www.gosnowmobiling.org to find clubs
or snowmobile-related businesses sponsoring safety events.
