Against the backdrop of renewed attention in Washington on multinational
tax issues, company executives and tax counsel have an opportunity to learn
about the latest international tax policy developments affecting their
businesses. Top officials with the 30-nation Organization for Economic
Cooperation and Development, which is playing an increasingly important
role in international tax deliberations, will join senior U.S. officials at
a two-day conference organized by the United States Council for
International Business (USCIB).
This event is the latest in a regular series of conferences focusing on the
OECD's key role in global tax matters. The event provides insight into how
the Paris-based OECD, which groups the world's most advanced industrialized
nations, influences tax policies worldwide, and how business can engage
with it. The full agenda and additional information is available at
www.uscibtax.org.
USCIB promotes open markets, competitiveness and innovation, sustainable
development and corporate responsibility, supported by international
engagement and prudent regulation. Its members include top U.S.-based
global companies and professional services firms from every sector of our
economy, with operations in every region of the world. With a unique
global network encompassing leading international business organizations,
USCIB provides business views to policy makers and regulatory authorities
worldwide, and works to facilitate international trade and investment.
