The 2007 editions of Canon's co-located events in California and New York
were recently honored by Trade Show Executive magazine as two of the 100
largest shows in the U.S. that, according to the publication, "have set the
Gold Standard for the exposition industry."
"The success of our events is testimony to both market conditions and their
promotional models," said Dan Cutrone, Marketing Director in Canon's Events
Division. "They focus upon industries that are less exposed to economic
downturns and they meet the expectations of attendees who need to keep
fully up-to-date with strategies, technologies and trends that will help
make them more efficient and effective."
"Canon is the largest B-to-B media company devoted to the advancing
manufacturing sector worldwide," adds O'Keefe. "The level of activity
we're seeing in North America parallels what we have seen in our European
and Asian shows, reflecting the inherent strength of advanced manufacturing
as an economic driver."
