NEW YORK, Sept. 19, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) LLP today announced an agreement to acquire substantially all the assets of Entology, Inc., an enterprise technology solutions consulting firm and the leader in implementing Oracle(r) Identity Management. Awarded the Oracle Titan Award for Excellence in Security and Identity Management in 2006 and 2007, Entology's team of seasoned professionals architect, develop and implement enterprise technology solutions, including identity management, content management, and collaborative business portals. The acquisition includes a group of client service professionals with significant industry, operational and IT expertise. Entology CEO Lawrence R. Prager will join PwC as a managing director and member of the firm's Oracle and Security practices, led respectively by PwC Advisory partners Sohail Siddiqi and Gary Loveland.

The acquisition is expected to be completed in November 2008. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
