According to the agreement, UFT will take over the full rights to this technology worldwide, including its licensing to other contractors. Yara will support the technology transfer through a service agreement for support on licensing, engineering and commissioning. In order to ensure continued development of the technology, UFT will have access to the pilot plant in Yara's Sluiskil plant. On-going contracts like the fluid bed granulation plant of 3,600 tonnes/day currently being built in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia, will not be transferred to UFT but completed by Yara.
There will be a modest positive impact on Yara's third quarter results.
