Ross Stores Selects TradeBeam for Innovative Global Trade Management

TradeBeam Inks Strategic, Multi-Year, Multi-Service Agreement With Nation's Second Largest Off-Price Retailer


SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwire - June 18, 2007) - TradeBeam, Inc., a leading provider of on-demand Global Trade Management (GTM) software and services, today announced that Ross Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROST) has signed an agreement to leverage the company's on-demand GTM solutions to advance their global supply chain. Ross Stores will be using TradeBeam's Event Management, Purchase Order Management, Letters of Credit, Compliance and Catalog tools to enhance their current methods and effectively manage their global supply chain in real time.

TradeBeam will enable Ross Stores to streamline their process for creating and collaborating on purchase orders (POs) with foreign trading partners. It will ensure that all POs contain the required data for customs processing such as Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes. In addition, the system will automate the process of creating and managing Letters of Credit (LC) and will ensure that any change to a PO is automatically reflected in the related LC. Finally, TradeBeam will provide Ross Stores visibility into key supply chain events including the ability to track a vendor shipment. As a result, the TradeBeam solution is expected to increase the speed and reliability of Ross Stores' global supply chain.
