Concentrating Vaisala's Thunderstorm operations in one location will reduce costs and improve efficiency. Some employees will be offered the possibility for relocation within Vaisala. All R&D for Vaisala's Thunderstrom business will be carried out in the USA in the future.
Vaisala Measurement Systems division has accrued 0,4 MEUR for this restructuring.
